The Sean Kelly Tour of The Midlands
The Irish Heart Foundation is calling on cycle enthusiasts to join legend Sean Kelly for his first ever Tour of the Midlands on Sunday 13th October.

*There will be a limited number of on the day entries, at a fee of €50
Route DetailsThere will be two main routes consisting of 120km and 80 km, with a third 12km route for families.
The Kelly Slieve Bloom 120km:
Start time: 8.15am, Sunday 13th October
This route takes in two climbs in the Slieve Bloom mountains with a fast flat finish from Birr to Tullamore.
Route: Starts Tullamore (Harriers Sports Arena) -> Mountmellick -> Rosenallis -> Clonaslee ->The Cut Hillclimb (7.2km at 5%) -> The Wolftrap (3km at 9%) -> Kinnity (Food Stop) -> Birr -> Kilcormack -> Blueball -> Finish Tullamore (Harriers Sports Arena).

The Kelly Cut 80km:
Start Time: 9am, Sunday 13th October
This route takes in flatter roads around the base of the Slieve Bloom mountains before joining with the 120km route to finish.
Route: Starts Tullamore (Harriers Sports Arena) -> Killeigh -> Clonaslee -> Kinnity (Food Stop) -> Birr -> Kilcormack -> Blueball -> Finish Tullamore (Harriers Sports Arena).

Important note: Participants for the 120/80km cycles must also register their attendance on the morning of the event. Registration will be open from 7am in the grounds of the Tullamore Harriers Sports arena
The 12km Kelly Family Spin:
Start time: 11am, Sunday 13th October
This route takes place around the areas of Tullamore, Rahan, and Mucklagh.
Route: Starts Tullamore (Harriers Sports Arena) -> Rahan -> Mucklagh -> Finish Tullamore (Harriers Sports Arena).
Please note that registration for the family cycle will take place on the day, €5 per person, or €10 per family (2 adults, 2 children)
Roadside assistance, support vehicles & plenty of refreshment stops will be provided along each route by Buckleys Cycles Tullamore, in association with Tullamore Cycling Club.
Meet Sean Kelly for a FREE Q & A Session: Saturday 12th October
Where: Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore, County Offaly at 7pm
