MTB night from Carlin at 7:30, meet 715 for a prompt start. I think we will miss the rain, but the ground will be very wet, so wrap up warm and waterproof.
time for some fun in the mud again... ;D

wet, muddy and cool. A depleted group of Nialls, Adrian, Ciaran and myself went out. The omens were not good when Bigfoot arrived at my house and less than 200m later had a puncture. Fixed, running late we rushed on and met the other three coming out to check we were still coming out to play.
Into mallard and a quick spin to warm up the legs. fast and furious, without the nitrous oxide, just some methane and hot air, but with both nialls trying their hand at drifting (usually comical) it was a great run. then brakes on and and other puncture from Bigfoot. Quickly repaired and on our way continuing - wet and a bit cold, out around Audleys Castle back in and across the extension of temple water (very marshy), up to the bridge and then the new usual route back up the fields. Ciaran had a bit of a rough baptism, but coped well. Adrian as usual going much better than he believes and the rest of us getting round crash free - always a bonus.
I reckon about 15 miles in forest (forgot to start Garmin). Bigfoot and I then headed home - with a worried bigfoot thinking his tyre was leaking slowly. Niall must have had 30 miles in the legs by the time he arrived home - if he ever made it...
Good night everyone is riding really well, roll on the weekend and hopefully some settled weather.
