One of your club cyclists had an accident where they damaged the rear of my fathers new car on June 24 on the Ormeau Road.
Cyclist claimed they are part of your club, insured through Cycling Ireland and advised that they would co-operate fully with insurance claim for the damage including paying my fathers excess of £100.
To date, and to best of our knowledge, cyclist has not reported the incident to your club according to my fathers last contact with yourselves, and is avoiding providing insurance details to my fathers insurance company and avoiding paying excess despite assurance that he would co-operate.
This reflects very, very badly on your club as a whole and I urge you to offer some assistance in this matter.
My father was at no fault and a cyclist claiming to be part of your club had an accident damaging the rear, and windscreen of my fathers vehicle and has offered little to no assistance in resolving the matter.
I consider this unnacceptable.
I await your reply.
Apologies that I have had to post this here, but I am receiving no reply from any of the other contact details for the club.
Hopefully someone can help get this resolved.
