There is the route I posted last week but weather was not right for it. Goes out around Boardmills and although around familiar areas , it is along quiet country lanes and I would hope to get people lost at times. Also new coffee stop at Temple golf club. Weather looks potentially pretty grim on Sunday with thunderstorms, so not sure whether it would be ok or not and do not think I would be out if there were storms around. about 38 miles and as they said on Le Tour commentary a bit lumpy in places but not too hard and good potential for quicker boys to extend. connect.garmin.com/course/4214280

I think about 23 out. Teconnaught, Lisbane, Temple golf Club , Boardmills, Annahilt, Spa and home. New coffee stop at Golf Club where we could admire drives off the 7th tee. Not sure whether they welcomed the spectators. Along quiet but lumpy roads with no punctures and surprisingly good weather. Forgot to start my Garmin and John's had a flat battery but from the part I was recording I estimate about 40 miles done at nearly 16 mph and around 3000 feet ascent. An enjoyable day in the sun and long may it last.
