Just back refreshed from a week in Donegal. Weather looks like a few showers tomorrow certainly later in afternoon. Also looks better going north and east. How about going to Daft Eddies which we have not visited for about 10 weeks. Not new route but reverse the one we did last time. Kilmore, Rademan Raffrey, Ballymacashen, Florida Manor, Lisbane and down coast to DE. Any of usual routes back. About 38 miles Brenanns to Brennans and 2700 feet climb. A mere molehill.

Oops. Apparently at the Tuesday meeting it was decided to trial out the first part of Paul McKibben route on Sunday so forget about above route suggestion.

18 out today on our run, we set of from Brennans on a cooler than usual morning and did nearly almost all the first half of the Paul McKibben run,It was nice to see Robin out and about again after his operations ,we all wish him well and hope and pray everything is ok for him.We headed up to Castlewellan but before we got there Marty had broken spokes,so he went home changed wheel and got the wife to leave him back to join the group ,he has her well trained,in the meantime we had two punctures in the peleton,Joe at the top of Castlewellan hill and Brian between Kilcoo and Rathfriland. We got them all sorted and headed on over to Hilltown and back down to the Rock Cafe where we ate everything in sight,I think they closed up after we left ,we then headed down to Maghera and I headed for home to see the hurling ,the rest all went there separate ways home and for refreshments.I met The Jagger ,Breige and Maried at the Blackstaff on there way home from a run round the coast .Nice days cycling and another good turn out, next Saturday the Marie Curie run takes place from the racecourse in Downpatrick ,hope to see a good turn out from the club
