mtb tonight, meet carlin 715 for 730 start. will be warm and hopefully dry, but course will be wet, so waterproofs, mudguards and lights required.
worries about cleanliness, germs, manure, abuse and injury should be left behind.
expect an amount of facepack, so glasses are recommended .
anyone who wants on mtb text list - drop note of number and I'll include you. or text me on 07855030501 (with your name).

Dry(ish) evening in the mud, 13 of us out - Coby, Adrian, Barney, Philip,Bigfoot, Niall (sans chapeau), Peter B, colum, Peter D, Shane, Ollie, John M and myself headed for a mallard wood warmup. Then onto trails proper, with lying water and slippery corners the main theme of the night. Peter B it was that had the falls on the night - with Ollie missing them again - the approach we should not take, is that you are safe if you are immediately in front of Ollie, as his gopro camera seems to be a good talisman for staying upright. Once peter b got restarted with stabilisers we continued on the traditional route, at the tunnel, we split, with the majority following Peter B up the hill and past the stables. Philip, Bigfoot and I headed down to the main track, then up the sweeping bends of the main fields, adn returned up the way we originally came down. Then up the rooty slope and back to the road. I reckon I would have had 16miles on the trails, with 22 in total as I cycled over and back.
Great night - bit damp, but warm. Hope Peter B is not too sore.
