Back after a long stint in Brum. Seems to have been a bit damp since I have been away. Sunday at present looks not too bad. Suggest we might do the Duck Run which we never did just before New Year. Have plotted easiest and shortest way there as many may be a bit rusty and roads are a bit muddy. Out via Rademon and Darragh Cross to Castle Espie. Back via Lisbane, Florida Manor, Raffrey and Crossgar. Quicker boys can just meet slower ones for coffee if they wish at Castle Espie and go back at their own pace and direction. About 36 miles, a lump or two but fairly straightforward. connect.garmin.com/course/5617755

Hey guys, I am heading to the rugby in Dublin tomorrow, but considering a run out early and then meeting the club at Brennan's about 0915 ish. I was planning on a run to Kilkeel to dodge the wind, or if some of the Downpatrick boys were going early I could join in Saul. It's to be windy and cold but dry.

About 26 out today on,and believe it if you can, a sunny dry day. Out via Rademon, Darragh Cross and out to Castle Espie. Amazingly all getting together at the same time. Staff at CE were very excited as a White Necked Cant Remember What had just been spotted for the first time. A live 7 foot boa constrictor was also writhing around. Back home into the wind via Raffrey and Crossgar, with a fair amount of splintering into smaller groups. Great to hear that Ralph is recovering and Denis has been out on a bike again for a spin. A few aches and pains tonight I suspect with most people not having been out much recently and some a bit under the weather like Sammy Nixon with a dickey tum. Overall though great to be out in the sun on country roads, and especially for me as I have been away so long that I have lost my Irish accent. Good for everyone to have a flat route for a change after all that mountain climbing along the coast. 36 miles done , 2500 feet climbed and well done to B's who had to go a bit quicker than normal. And just to show I am a gentleman, well done Ireland against Scotland.
