Was going to suggest route out via Saintfield Moneyreagh and LaMon hotel which we did last year and I did with Ann, Brian B and Dylan today and is quite a testing run at 3500 feet climb and 45 miles but no one really graunchy hill. However weather forecast is heavy thundery showers and also Drumaness have a Sportive on. So as I do not have time for the sportive myself was thinking just do run down to Ardglass where you can escape quickly home if weather gets rough and those that can will do Drumaness run. Will watch forecast. Also did test of Carlingford this week but will report separately on that.

About 12 at Brennans. Half went off to cycle Drumaness Sportive and remaining 6 who either wanted to be home early or preferred a shorter run set off for Ardglass. Down to Corbally, Bright and out to St Johns Lighthouse and usual stop at Ardglass being overtaken by Sportive pelaton. Back across lanes by Ballyalton, Church Ballee and Ballyduggan. A pleasant run in the sun and thankfully got back before showers arrived. 38 miles 2500 feet climb.
