Hopefully all home and recovering. A's and B's did roughly same routes but on different days and speeds, some A's doing the Puig Major (Pig). On my Garmin about 320 miles and 18000 feet climbing over the 5 days. Average cycling temperature was 30 degrees C with an unbelievable peak of 42 degrees C. In spite of easily more than doubling the normal daily calorie usage, I and probably everyone else came back 3 pounds heavier due to consuming 3 main and 2 dessert courses each night. Not helped by the bad influence of some disreputable colleagues encouraging the consumption of too much orange juice. Awards -- most supportive Team Man was Brian Mclean who graced both A's and B's with his presence on alternative days or may be he is just a bit indecisive. Robin Priestley as Handy Man for repairing and adjusting many colleagues bikes. Most Photogenic Member goes to Niall P Cochrane. Thanks to Peter Bohill for all transfer and room bookings. If you could not make it this year, try hard for next years tour wherever that may be. See you at Over the Quoile next week.
