Anyone playing silly burgers in the woods Tuesday night? I haven't hurt myself in almost a week!

yes lunacy in the twilight will continue tonight. Extra points for running over pedestrians, dogs etc. dismounts of original type will also gain points (and probably pain).
But seriously we do now need to be careful about others sharing the paths.
Meet Tonight 7:15 for 7:30 start at Carlin.

Any truth in the rumour that a certain person has been proposed to operate a 'Bike wash'. Mines first in the queue

Good warm night with 11 out, Peter, adrian, Denis, Mark, Conor M, John F, Bigfoot, Coby, Shane, Damian and myself. Good to see the return of Denis and Damian.
Shane and Bigfoot the two puncture sufferes - with Bigfoots an impressive blowout.
Good lunatic run at end with Bigfoot and I to complete with 13.6miles on clock in forest, so 20 miles plus for Peter and I
No dismounts - but I did eventually realise why my cleats failed to connect to the pedals - because one side of the pedals has been flattened by a rock impact and the cleats cannot engage.... initially a job for a crow bar - then probably a replacement, we will see.
Good luch to all the Majorca bound LLRCC guys, have a great time, and both enjoy and be safe.

Great to get out on the MTB last night, forgot how much fun it was. I was very impressed by everyone's fitness all them winter nights paying off now, fairplay.
Thanks to John F for the light.
Only one dismount to report, Shane played chicken with a badger and came off second best.
On thinking about this Shane was wearing a black and white top and riding a black and white bike perhaps the badger was looking for some late night fun in the forest no questions asked. Hopefully he's ok and wasn't to badly hurt as Shane seemed grand at the carpark.

Cheers Damian thanks for asking, I'm a bit black and blue but fine, can't fault the Badger as you described I was wearing black and white and maybe looked quite fetching to a Badger ! Makes a change from attracting dogs I suppose !!!!!!

Very enjoyable evening out.Conor and I broke off at the main entrance to cycle home just as it got dark......with the lovely hills of Slaney and saul in front of me.Conor is really doing well and keen to join us on our evening road outings exams permitting. Enjoyed Shanes display of acute OCD when repairing his puncture.........just a pity him and wee Joe aren't sharing a room in Majorca!
