I'll see how the weather is in the morning. If I go, I'll be at the Quoile for 7:45 (ish), heading for Dromara via Ballynahinch.

Great run out at the Dromara Coastal. John M, Damian and i cycled up from the coast. About 7 LLR officially on the run. Never so wet (twice) in all my rides. Left with a rather sore welt were the sun don't shine. Averaging 22mph between Ardglass and Strangford (yes wind assissted). Great food stop in Strangford but no Slimming World tray bakes. Must be getting fitter as i was feeling fine afterwards. 54 miles

Had a great day at the dromara costal tour even though the weather wasn't the best and was soaked in the first 5mins. But that didn't put anyone off! I headed of in the first group and stayed with them till the mill in Downpatrick where I then caught on to a group of 4 lads from Camlough who turned of taking a short cut back to Downpatrick and then Dromara, not paying attention I found myself back in Downpatrick. I then left the Camlough lads and sprinted for about 12 mile thankfully back in strangford and was happy find Sammy, Brian, Marty, Michael and Dermot just leaving so stayed with them the whole way to killyleagh were Dermot then turned of and the 5 of us then headed round the rest of the 80mile route. Marty then had a puncture in Ballynahinch so quick change and then headed of again, I cut of at Ballynahinch and headed for home while the rest headed back to dromara. I'm very happy as this was a very big achievement for me 92 mile on the clock when home almost 6 hours on the bike non stop with an average speed of 17mph and burning over 4000 calories! I have a great trainer!! Cheers Robin! And cheers to all the lads!

I'll continue the story Dylan. He decided he'd sprint from Ballynahinch to Downpatrick instead of spinning easy to cool down. So instead of arriving in cooled down, he arrived in pumped. Which then resulted in legs & feet cramping. Lol.
Anyway, his mum & me are so proud of what he's achieved in such a short space of time. This could only have been made possible by a fine club with members (young & old) who took him under their wing & lending him advice & support along the way (and the odd spare tube). Also thanks to Robin & Hayley, who both spotted Dylan's talent & potential & who kindly took him in & introduced him to a proper & structured training routine. I have know doubt that their time spent with Dylan on cold wet nights in Tollymore, climbing the Drinns & pushing him that extra bit each time, has been the making of him.
Thanks All.
