Cycled this Ards route with my son last week and show it to see whether members would like to do it or have comments or suggested improvements. Suggest the meet point would be Quoile car park and not Brennans. Catch ferry to Portaferry and then follow the very quiet Coastal Road going North. Then meander around quiet country lanes on a Magical Mystery section and down through Kirkistown and Cloughey. Then follow the Ballyquentin Scenic Route around south of peninsula. This was part of Stevens route last week but I think going a bit further south . Distance 46 miles of which 30 miles on the Ards. Very quiet roads along countryside/coast. Very flat course (HONESTLY) apart from Doctors Hill. Suggest 9.30 meet at Quoile and away fairly sharply to catch 10.30 ferry (allowing for punctures/spoke problems) Back at Portaferry around 1.15 and coffee then at Ferry Port Inn and catch 1.45 ferry or catch 1.15 and coffee at Cuan. Would be back at Quoile at 2.30 either way. Enclose Garmin route which I hope should be seeable as I have made it and previous routes in the library flagged as public. Route best on a sunny Sunday, not this coming one ! Any views ? connect.garmin.com/course/3940252

Max any mystery tour by maximus tours is good enough for me. I am playing in the sperrins this week and may miss following Sunday. But I am sure some would welcome another cycle into the unknown
